Edgewood Police Officer Fred Livingston was given an award Tuesday afternoon during the department's meeting for his involvement and leadership in the annual Citizen's Police Academy.
Livingston has played a key role in the classes, which give citizens tips, tools and knowledge of law enforcement, as well as how they can make their own neighborhoods safer places.
