Edgewood Police Investigate Car Break-Ins

Several cars in Edgewood were broken into over the past week.

Police responded to about nine incidents in which residents reported someone had rummaged through their vehicles or stolen items.

On June 21, three incidents were reported on Hawthorne Road, and Elm and Gordon streets.

One incident was reported on Maple Avenue on June 22.

On June 25, five incidents were reported on Linden Avenue, Edgewood Avenue, Elm Street and Lacrosse Street.

Money, electronics, briefcases and wallets were among the items reported stolen. The vehicles involved were not locked, according to police.
