June 8

  • police responded to a report of theft from a vehicle on Mifflin Avenue. A resident reported that $5 in change was stolen from the car.
  • Police responded to a report of criminal mischief after a resident reported that someone threw a brick through the front window of their car. No items were found missing and the brick was found inside.
  • Police assisted on a medical call.
  • Police responded to a false alarm with Edgewood Volunteer Fire Department after a local alarm went off. The smoke resulted from burnt food.

June 9

  • Police assisted on a medical call.
  • Police responded to a report at CW Price in Edgewood Towne Center after a woman left her infant child in the shoe department to go to Kmart. She returned after 40 minutes. Police charged Camille Cox with child endangerment and called Children Youth Services for an investigation.
  • Police responded to a fender bender at Edgewood Towne Center.
  • Police responded to a theft at Giant Eagle after a man attempted to take two packages of chicken from the hot food section. Giant Eagle is handling the case.
  • Police and the fire department responded to a report that there was smoldering mulch at Edgewood Towne Center between Wendy’s and Eat’n Park.

  • Akeem Bray was charged with retail theft after attempting to steal a toy and a Father’s Day bag from Kmart valued at $24.98.
  • Police responded to a hit and run accident on the Parkway ramp.

  • Police responded to a domestic dispute at Applebee’s.
  • Police responded to a report that a woman was screaming near Oakview. A couple was found and both were advised.
