Doctor With Offices in Swissvale, Turtle Creek Accused of Inappropriately Touching Patients

Allegheny County police believe there may be more victims.

A primary care physician with offices in Swissvale and Turtle Creek was charged Tuesday after two female patients said he touched them inappropriately, according to the Post-Gazette.

Raja Chakrapani, of Fox Chapel, reportedly faces four misdemeanor counts of indecent assault and two harassment charges.

Allegheny County police told the newspaper that there may be additional victims and asked patients and staff who may have been assaulted to contact police.

The alleged incidents happened between August 2012 and June 2013 at R C Medical Associates in White Oak. 

Chakrapani also has offices in West Mifflin and at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh.
