Courts: Man Charged with DUI, Hitting Parked Car; Drugs Found

John C. Davis, 56, of Penn Hills was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle without financial responsibility and reckless driving. Forest Hills police arrested Davis July 4 after they were called to the 400 block of Lenox Avenue after a vehicle struck three parked cars. Davis told police he did not have a license and could only show an expired insurance card. Police smelled alcohol and also found an empty beer can and empty vodka bottle on the passenger side of the car. He could not stand up straight at the scene, according to the police report.

Otis Lasley, 42, of Homestead waived his right to a preliminary hearing while facing charges of two counts of driving under the influence, operating a vehicle without financial responsibility and reckless driving. Edgewood police were dispatched to the 1300 block of South Braddock Avenue May 30 after receiving a call that a car had run into a parked car. As police arrived, a vehicle was traveling towards them at a high rate of speed, crossing over the double lane and into oncoming traffic. Police turned around and pulled Lasley over, smelled alcohol and found he had a suspended license. Wilkinsburg police assisted. Lasley failed sobriety tests and later was found to have a .147 blood alcohol content, according to the police report.

Delbert Lewis Fullum, 51, of McKees Rocks waived his right to a preliminary hearing on two counts of driving under the influence and disregard for the traffic lane. arrested Fullum June 25 during a traffic stop at the Forest Hills exit on the Parkway East after noticing the driver crossing in and out of the lane. Police smelled alcohol and reported Fullum’s eyes to be glazed over and his speech slurred, according to the police report. He also failed sobriety tets on the scene. Braddock Hills police assisted.

Lashonda Dollison, 20, of Homewood waived her right to a preliminary hearing on charges of two counts of possession with intent to deliver, presenting false identification to law enforcement, tampering with physical evidence and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. arrested Dollison June 26 during a traffic stop at the 2300 block of William Penn Highway. The driver swerved toward the center barrier while merging onto the parkway east, later stopping at the Penn Hills off-ramp. Three people were in the car and started moving around and shifting things as police approached. All appeared nervous and police noticed track marks indicative of heroin use on one of the passenger’s arms, according to the police report. Police found heroin tucked in Dollison’s bra, which contained a brick—50 stamp bags of heroin. They also found crack cocaine in the vehicle, a cell phone and $59 cash.

Frederick Jam Jackmeyer, 21, of North Huntingdon waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Forest Hills police arrested Jackmeyer June 16 after being called to the parking lot of Family Restaurant for two suspicious males in a car. A passenger was holding a syringe to a bottle cap as police approached as the two people in the car grabbed several stamp bags and tried to hide them. Several stamp bags also fell from Jackmeyer’s pants as he got out of the car. Police also found a stun gun.

Jackmeyer also waived his right to a preliminary hearing in a second case in which he faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness. Wilkins Township police arrested him March 21 after being called to the Highland Manor Apartments building for a disturbance in the parking lot. When police arrived, he was standing outside of the vehicle and banging on the trunk with his hands. When police asked Jackmeyer what he was doing, he replied, “Making some beats.” Police said his eyes were glazed over and speech slurred. They found numerous stamp bags of torn, empty heroin bags strewn across the floor of the vehicle. Police also found a bag with three syringes. Jackmeyer later told police that he is a heroin addict and had used right before they arrived.
