Courts: DUI Charges, Illegal Gun Cases Heard This Week

The following cases recently were heard by in :

Charles Antione, 19, of Wilkinsburg was held for court on charges of firearms not to be carried without a license and receiving stolen property. He was charged March 24 by Churchill police.

Mia Chantel Thomas, 27, of Braddock waived her right to a preliminary hearing on charges of two counts of driving under the influence, driving while suspended, driving without financial responsibility, careless driving, two counts of improper tires and two counts of causing accidental damage to an unattended vehicle.

Brandon L. Evans, 26, of Pittsburgh waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of burglary, theft by unlawful taking and resisting arrest. He was charged May 4 by Swissvale police.

Benjamin C. Hirtle, 23, of Wilkinsburg waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of two counts of driving under the influence and exceeding the speed limit by more than 21 miles per hour. He was charged April 13 by Swissvale police.

Rodney L. Dennard, 44, of Edgewood was held for court on charges of possession of a firearm prohibited, firearms not to be carried without a license, making repairs or selling an offensive weapon, two charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. He was charged Nov. 24 by Forest Hills police.
