A child was hit by a car around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Wood Street and Ross Avenue in Wilkinsburg, according to the Post-Gazette and WPXI.
The extent of the child's injuries were not immediately known. The child was taken to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
