Burglary, BB Guns Keep Edgewood Police Busy

Here are the Edgewood police reports for June 21 to 27.

The following incidents were reported to the Edgewood Police Department:

June 21

  • Three juveniles from Wilkinsburg were cited after stealing five BB guns from Kmart. They were found shooting them on Lincoln Avenue.
June 22
  • A vehicle crashed into a tree and flipped over on the 400 block on Maple Avenue. No one was hurt.

June 24
  • A Coal Street resident reported someone broke a window overnight.
  • A Pennwood Avenue resident said someone entered her home, rearranged her belongings and put paint on her cat.
June 26
  • An Edgewood Avenue apartment resident came home to find that her apartment was not locked properly and that four pieces of China were missing.
  • Juveniles were charged after carrying realistic looking BB and pellet guns on South Braddock Avenue.
  • A dog was hit by a car on South Braddock and Sanders avenues.
June 27
  • Timothy Morton, 29, of Edgewood, was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after an incident on Edgewood Avenue.
