Arrest Warrant Issued in Wilkinsburg Double Shooting

The shooting happened Tuesday night in a parking lot.

Detectives from the homicide unit have secured an arrest warrant for Brian Hall in relation to the overnight double shooting in Wilkinsburg.  Hall is a 17-year-old male from Penn Hills with ties to Wilkinsburg. He is described as 5’8” tall and 135 pounds. At roughly 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, two 19-year-old men were shot in the parking lot of the Ambassador apartment building on Penn Avenue in Wilkinsburg, near Churchill. The men were not from Wilkinsburg and were most likely in the area to purchase drugs, according to police. One of the shooting victims is in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds and the other is in stable condition. Hall is charged as an adult with aggravated assault and attempted homicide. He has a distinctive tattoo on the inside of his right forearm. He is registered in the Penn Hills High School but did not arrive for school on Wednesday. Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to call the homicide unit at 412-473-1300.  Anyone sighting Hall should call 911 immediately.
