Accidents and Car Break-Ins Keep Forest Hills Police Busy

Here are the Forest Hills police reports for June 14 to 20.

The following incidents were reported to the Forest Hills Police Department:

June 14

  • A two-vehicle accident occurred on Ardmore Boulevard at Marion Avenue.
June 15
  • A Forest Hills resident reported receiving a threatening letter in the mail at her workplace in the City of Pittsburgh. 
June 18
  • A Barclay Avenue resident reported that someone stole his garage door opener from his vehicle.
  • A Windsor Avenue resident reported that someone had entered her vehicle overnight and ransacked it. However, nothing was missing.
June 19
  • David Andrew Babyak, 26, of Avonmore, was charged with accident involving damage to an attended vehicle, prohibited acts and driving with a suspended license. He is accused of being involved in a hit and run accident on Ardmore Boulevard. According to police, Babyak left the accident scene and called police when he was in Churchill.
