You're Invited! June 3rd - 25th Annual Park Place Summer Community Festival & Picnic!

Come join your friends & neighbors in Park Place for a great afternoon of food, live music and family fun!

It’s the summer event for which you’ve all been waiting! In its 25th year, the Park Place Picnic is the place to be on Sunday, June 3rd from 1:00 until 5:00 PM.

This always FREE event is filled with family fun brought to you by Mike the Balloon Guy!

  • Live music from local jazz trio, the Living Spirit Praise Band
  • Water Dunk
  • Airbrush Tattoos
  • Bounce House

Grab your friends and family and come on down to Abbott Street between East End and Peebles and meet your neighbors. Hot dogs and cold drinks will be provided–please bring a dessert or side dish to share!

This event could not happen without support from these generous sponsors:

  • Citiparks
  • Greater Park Place Neighborhood Association (GPPNA)
  • Mike the Balloon Guy
  • Giant Eagle
  • Office Depot Inc.
  • Howard Hanna

GPPNA will have an information table at the picnic and you’ll see Board members wearing nametags–please say hello! We’d love to meet you! Please stop by to find out about upcoming events and opportunities to get involved in the neighborhood. If you enjoy events like the Picnic and appreciate our efforts to facilitate neighborhood connections, build community, foster civic engagement, and communication with local officials and organizations to improve life in Park Place, please consider becoming a member to show your support. Memberships are $10 a year, per person. We’ll have forms at the table and can accept cash or check for your dues.
