Edgewood Borough Mayor Ed Cook has lifted the restriction prohibiting on-street parking this weekend for the Fourth of July holiday.

The ban will be lifted starting at 3 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, and will end at 3 a.m. on Monday, July 8.

Normally, the borough restricts on-street parking between 3 and 5 a.m. It requires parked vehicles to display a valid Borough of Edgewood parking permit sticker in the top left-hand corner of the rear window, according to the borough's website.
