Holiday Things to Do in the Patch This Weekend

We've rounded up some great things to help get you in the holiday spirit.

Looking for something fun to get you in the holiday spirit? Check out these events happening in the Forest Hills-Regent Square Patch area this weekend:

  • Take a Christmas Cookie Walk at Christ Lutheran Church and School, 400 Barclay Ave., Forest Hills, at 10 a.m. Saturday. Cost is $5.
  • Go buy a live Christmas tree from Boy Scout Troop 23 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Koenig Field, Edgewood.
  • Find a cool gift at the Wilkins School Community Center's Holiday Gift SHop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  • Enjoy the Animal Nature Holiday Craft Fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the store, 7610 Forbes Ave., Regent Square. 
  • Deck your house for the holidays, then for the local school district! 
  • Or you can go nuts and track down a member of the Forest Hills Lions Club and buy some delicious Koeze Nuts as a great Christmas gift.
