SAT. 03/24 - Exteriors 101: Maintaining the value of your home and community
Join the Greater Park Place Neighbhorhood Association, the Regent Square Civic Association, & the Community Design Center of Pittsburgh for our 5th Annual Home Improvement Workshop!
(Doors open at 9:30)
Presentations 10:00AM - 11:00 AM
- Intro: Doing Right By Your Home
- Roofs: shingles, slate, gutters & downspouts
- Masonry: cleaning, repointing, repairing
- Siding: restoring original vs. replacing with new
- Painting & Colors: good techniques & house appropriate color choices
Break-out Session 11:00AM – 12:00 PM
- One-on-one discussions with presenters
- Information tables manned by local home improvement contractors and organizations offering relevant products and services
- Free "mini design consultations" by architects/landscape architects from the Community Design Center of Pittsburgh (attendees are urged to bring pictures of the exterior of their house)
All are invited to attend. No RSVP required.
