Hello friends of the Braddock Carnegie Library,
We would like to invite you to share with us in a special celebration of local tastes and talents AND holiday cheer.
Saturday, December 8, 11-5pm
419 Library Street, Braddock, PA
It is not only a way to support VERY local people of the Braddock area who are making and creating but also a way to support the Braddock Carnegie Library and see the dynamic programs that we are filling this historic building (Carnegie's first public library) with.
We will be featuring the work of Victoria Hruska (http://www.mattress.org/index.cFm?event=ShowArtist&eid=91&id=452&c=Past), her work will be for sale as well as in the library as an installation as part of the Artist in the Library Series. We will also be featuring 7 other local artisans, the work of the Ujamaa Collective and the Braddock Carnegie Arts Program. The event is from 11-5 at the library. Oh, the other bonus is you can fill up a Neighborhood Print Shop tote bag full of books for only $10!! AND there are free activities for all ages in the ceramics studio!
++Ginger Brooks Takahashi and Alicia Murray are spinning tunes to build the cheer, Jessica Landes will lead us in holiday rhythms and General Sisters soup will be served.
Thanks so much and I hope you can join us,
