Habitat For Humanity Prepares to Open Second-Hand Emporium in Edgewood

"It's halfway between Construction Junction and a Goodwill," said one volunteer at the , a voluminous new outlet for recycled housewares, appliances and construction material. The ReStore is a branch of Habitat for Humanity, which helps create domiciles for underserved populations.

The description is spot on. Like Construction Junction, the home-improvement warehouse in Point Breeze, the vast selection of used toilets and windows is breathtaking. But when the opens at the end of July, it will also stock tableware, exercise equipment and fresh new products, like donated hardhats.
