Thanks for checking out our first edition of a new Thursday special, Weekend Planner. Check out these upcoming events and you can't go wrong.

1. This weekend, the Regent Square Movie Theater is featuring the Oscar-nominated animated film, The Illusionist. This film comes from the same creator of the Triplets of Belleville. On Sunday night, get your kitsch on with the pulp-like hit, Cobra Woman. For showtimes, click here.

2. Wilkins School Community Center is always offering some fun activities for all ages. On Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., a group gathers at the Cathedral of Learning for Stair Climbing. Challenge yourself and drop in for just $10 for this class with Lady J. Fit Clique. Not quite ready to bust out the stairs? Try beginning yoga at the center on Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on your lunch break -- drop in for $10. For more information visit www.wsccpgh.org.

3. Register for on ! Beulah Christian Preschool and Child Care has been offering  Christian education and care for more than 30 years. They are accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). "Our curriculum provides a combination of child-directed and teacher-initiated activities designed to stimulate interest and growth within a developmentally appropriate framework," their event page states.
