UPDATED: Traffic Signal Upgrades on Ardmore Blvd. Thursday

Here's a look at this week's traffic issues.

PennDOT District 11 is announcing traffic signal upgrades on Ardmore Boulevard in Forest Hills Thursday.

It had originally been scheduled for Wednesday.

Crews will be installing new controller boxes at the intersection with Avenue B. The signals in the intersection will be turned off during the work as needed between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.

Police will control traffic movements while the signals are out.

Motorists should use caution, slow down, and expect the signals to be out. Bronder Technical Services will perform the work as a part of a $1 million project to upgrade multiple traffic signals in Allegheny and Beaver counties.
