Squirrel Hill Tunnel Single Lane Closures Thursday Night
Here's a look at traffic issues this week.
PennDOT District 11 is announcing traffic in the Squirrel Hill Tunnel on the Parkway East will be reduced to a single lane Thursday night.
Crews will be conducting minor repairs. The single lane closures will occur from 9:30 p.m. on Thursday to 5:30 a.m. on Friday in both directions. To minimize impacts on traffic leaving the Penguins game, crews will work in the inbound direction first.
Motorists are advised to use caution, be prepared for changing traffic patterns, and allow extra time when traveling through the area. Log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major roadways before traveling.
