Pittsburgh Fashion Week Presents 'Fashions on Fifth'

The PFW street team will be simulating a photo shoot during downtown Pittsburgh's lunch rush Wednesday.

Pittsburgh Fashion Week is returning for its second year at the end of September, and promotions throughout town have just begun! 

The "Fashions on Fifth" street team will be simulating a photo shoot for one hour during Pittsburgh's lunch rush in several locations Wednesday. 

The tour will start promptly at high noon on Fifth Avenue and Grant Street, moving to Fifth and Smithfield Street, Fifth and Wood Street and finishing at Fifth and Liberty avenues near the Fairmont Hotel.

The PFW team will highlight very talented student designers: Skyy Golden and Tammy Jackson, students at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and Cary D. Heard, who will be attending Kent State University this fall to study fashion design.

All three students will be showing designs at back-to-back runway shows during fashion week, Sept. 26-Oct. 2.

Performing the photo shoot is local photographer Samantha Seddon, videographer Heather Springer and Sara Miller. 

Aspiring models Breanna Williams; Keira Hardy; Chanell Renee; Linsey Coffey; Ernesta Pollard; and Abbie Heigel. PGH Style Correspondent Elena LaQuartra, Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen 2008 and Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA 2010, will reel the crowds with conversations and a sparkling smile.
