Patch Pets: Ellie Needs a Home!
This week, we have another adorable dog looking for a new home.
Ellie is a nearly four year old Australian Cattle dog who was surrendered to the Animal Rescue League because her family felt she was too much responsibility.
According to her previous owners, Ellie is deaf but knows some sign language commands. Her family also told us Ellie lived with other dogs and is fine with cats.
Ellie likes to play fetch and we noticed that she walks pretty well on the leash. Ellie is a little stressed at the shelter right now and we are hoping that someone will come and meet her, like her and take her home soon.

The shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday through Monday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
