Patch All-Star Kids: Cheyenne Lee, Adrian Nanij, and Katie Hoerner

Cheyenne Lee, 12, Adrian Nanij, 9, and Katie Hoerner, 9, all received honors and perfect attendance!

Accomplishment: Cheyenne Lee, Adrian Nanij and Katie Hoerner each achieved Honor Roll this year and had perfect attendance. Lee, a sixth grader, received High Honors this year, holding an A grade point average. She also was recognized for perfect attendance and received the National Physical Fitness Award. Nanij and Hoerner, both in 3rd grade, received Distinguished Honors and perfect attendance this year.

All Star’s Key to Awesomeness: “It wasn’t easy,” Lee said of the National Physical Fitness Test, requiring students to do pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, the mile run, and more. She owes her award, as well as her perfect attendance and exceptional grades, to hard work and always doing her best. 

Hoerner and Nanij are proud of their academic success and perfect attendance.

They both agreed that it comes down to working as hard as you can. Hoerner said  she sets a goal and then focuses on achieving it. Mission accomplished!
