Patch All-Star Kid: Mike Caprara

Mike Caprara is this week's Patch All-Star Kid!

Woodland Hills High School’s Mike Caprara is a jack-of-all-trades—from tackling the offense to taking center stage in the high school musical.

Accomplishment: Junior Mike Caprara has set records in the world of Woodland Hills High School sports and made waves in the theater department. A starter since his freshman year, Caprara is the all-time leading tackler in Woodland Hills history. This year, the varsity linebacker is getting recruitment offers from some top schools including the University of Pittsburgh, University of South Carolina and Michigan State.

All-Star Kid’s Key to Awesomeness: Caprara believes in trying everything once. That’s why, in addition to football, he's a wrestler, thrower on the track team and catcher for the high school’s baseball team. Last year, he starred as Lt. Ward in the school’s production of Annie.

“I’m still undecided as to where I want to go,” Caprara said of the schools recruiting him. While he’s focusing on football for now, he’s looking forward to getting back into the other things he enjoys, including theater. “Next year, I’ll have more time for everything,” Caprara said.

Keep it up, All-Star!
