Patch All-Star Kid: James McDonough

Woodland Hills High School's James McDonough, one of the youngest players on the Varsity baseball team, is this week's All-Star Kid!

All-Star Kid: James McDonough

Accomplishment: McDonough, a junior at , will be joining the varsity baseball team there at just 15-years-old. His hard work, dedication and natural skill have won him numerous trophies thus far in his baseball career.

Baseball’s not the only sport McDonough excels at. In addition, he helped lead his basketball team to victory this year. The season, starting in December and ending in May, finished out with the team winning eight out of 11 games. McDonough received two first place trophies for his outstanding skills as the team’s point guard.

All-Star Kid’s key to success: Practice, practice, practice. McDonough, whose been playing baseball since he was six, says he practices all the time. His love for the game helps him dedicate so much time to it.
