This haunted house's proceeds go to a good cause.

Hundred Acres Manor, a haunted house in Bethel Park, is open for the 2011 Halloween season.

The attraction, officially located at 100 Acres Drive, Bethel Park, PA 15102, in Allegheny County's South Park, has been open sporadically since Sept. 16 and will finish its run this year with nightly openings from Oct. 19-30.

Hundred Acres Manor closes at 10 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and at 11:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. It opens at 7 p.m.

The house will not be open on Halloween night, Monday, Oct. 31, because, as the attraction's official website states, "It is far too dangerous to allow visitors beyond the manor gates on All Hallows' Eve."

Hundred Acres Manor is considered by many critics, including those at TopHaunts.com and atHauntWorld.com, to be one of the world's top haunted houses.

Hundred Acres Manor is also a top philanthropic organization, as proceeds from the yearly attraction benefit two major charities in western Pennsylvania—the Homeless Children's Education Fund and Animal Friends.

Admission to the haunt starts as low as $16 per "victim." A full list of prices is available here. There are group rates, as well.
