More Snow Expected Today

Winter storm warning in effect through the evening

A winter storm warning is in effect for the Pittsburgh area until 7 p.m. tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

Heavy snow is in the forecast with accumulation predicted between four and eight inches, according to a report issued Friday morning by the service. The forecast calls for heavy periods of snow through the late afternoon.

A light dusting coated cars and yards this morning, while the roads were wet, but mostly clear.
