Meet Boosch - He Needs a New Home!
Each week, we will feature a new pet that needs adopted from the Animal Rescue League.
Boosch is a 3 ½-year-old Pit bull mix who was brought to the shelter due to the health of his owner, who was in a coma after a motorcycle accident.
Unable to find a shelter that would give this big guy a chance, a relative brought Boosch here from Ohio.
Boosch is quite the lover, and enjoys being around people. He is reported to be partially house-trained, but may still need some work in that area. Boosch has lived with children ages 8 and older and is reportedly very playful with them, but at over 80 pounds, might knock over smaller children. However, he’s definitely not a fan of cats.

Boosch is very strong and would benefit from learning some leash manners. He is able to sit for treats, but basic obedience wouldn't hurt! He is a very sweet, handsome boy who has been at the shelter for way too long. Come meet him today!!
If you'd like to inquire about Boosch, please email adoptions@animalrescue.org or come to the Animal Rescue League at 6620 Hamilton Ave., in East Liberty, 412-661-6452. The shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday through Monday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
