I-376 Squirrel Hill and Fort Pitt Tunnel Restrictions Next Week
Here's a local traffic update.
PennDOT District 11 is announcing cleaning operations in the Squirrel Hill (I-376 Parkway East) and the Fort Pitt (I-376 Parkway West) tunnels in Pittsburgh will occur Monday through Thursday nights, July 11 to 14.
Single lane closures will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. according to the following schedule:
Monday night, July 11

- Fort Pitt Tunnel inbound (eastbound)
Tuesday and Wednesday nights, July 12 and 13
- Squirrel Hill Tunnel outbound (eastbound)
Thursday night, July 14

Motorists are advised to use caution and allow extra time when traveling through the area. PennDOT also reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions and cameras on major roadways before traveling.
