I-376 Squirrel Hill and Fort Pitt Tunnel Restrictions Next Week
Here's a look at traffic issues for next week.
PennDOT District 11 is announcing cleaning operations in the Squirrel Hill (I-376 Parkway East) and the Fort Pitt (I-376 Parkway West) tunnels will occur Monday through Thursday nights next week.
Single lane closures will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. according to the following schedule:
Monday and Tuesday nights, Aug. 8 and 9:

- Squirrel Hill Tunnel inbound (westbound)
Wednesday and Thursday nights, Aug. 10 and 11:
- Fort Pitt Tunnel inbound (eastbound)
Motorists are advised to use caution and allow extra time when traveling through the area. PennDOT also reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions and cameras on major roadways before traveling.
