Great Escape: A Twist on Rest & Relaxation

Read a book, review a movie -- both are great ways to relax alone and then regroup to meet new people in the neighborhood and discuss your opinions with varying points of view.

Whether you’re laying out in the backyard, by the river or you’re fortunate enough to be on a beach somewhere, you’ll need a good book to escape to.

On the second Tuesday of every month, the Swissvale Library holds a where people get together to share their thoughts and opinions of the book featured. The next discussion group is July 14 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The book is The Likeness by Tana French.

If you’re avoiding the heat and seeking cooler shelter, maybe a movie would be a better idea.
