Food & Tote Bag Drive Gets a Healthy Dose of Competition

Have you donated to our food and tote bag drive yet? Because we just raised the stakes.

In conjunction with , Forest Hills-Regent Square Patch has challenged donors who are able to contribute tote bags of nonperishable items to the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank.

Those donors are now eligible to win prizes for their contributions.

Prizes include a $50 gift card to The Cheesecake Factory, a $25 gift card to Amazon.com, gourmet foods gift basket from East End Food Co-Op, a holiday heritage basket from Rivers of Steel Heritage Area, and other themed baskets.

The contest begins this Thursday, Dec. 1, and ends on Dec. 18. Follow these steps to become eligible to win:

  1. Visit www.tote4pgh.com to register as a “holiday drive coordinator.”  
  2. Collect & donate at least 25 tote bags (food optional).
  3. Bring your donations to one of four designated spots:
  •  – Regent Square
  •  – Dormont
  • Concepts Management Group – Forest Hills
  • Contact us directly to arrange a pickup.

    4. Contact us to confirm your donation & be entered in the drawing. (Email, phone, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

One eligible “drive coordinator” per household, organization or company. Contest is not open to Tote4Pgh volunteers, partners, corporate or institutional donors. Employee-driven tote drives ARE eligible (bags donated by employees, not corporate branded bags.) Tote4Pgh Steering Committee reserves the right to make final determination on eligibility.
