Flash Flooding Across Regent Square Area, Surrounding Communities

Heavy storms Monday night have caused floods across local streets.

Flash flooding hit the Regent Square area Monday night after a series of thunderstorms drenched the region.

A police car stood still in the middle of South Braddock Avenue near the Wilkins School Community Center to slow drivers down, as water barrelled down the hill that leads to Edgewood Town Centre.

Sewers overflowed along Race Street in Edgewood, bubbling with water as the rain continued to drizzle.
