Expect Nightly Parkway Delays Next Week
Crews will be cleaning the Squirrel Hill tunnels.
PennDOT District 11 is announcing crews will conduct cleaning operations in the Squirrel Hill Tunnel on the Parkway East nightly next week, Monday through Thursday.
Single lane restrictions will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night according to the following schedule:
- Inbound (westbound) Monday and Tuesday nights
- Outbound (eastbound) Wednesday and Thursday nights
Drivers are advised to use caution and allow extra time when traveling through the tunnels. Log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions and cameras on major roadways before traveling.
