Wilkinsburg Community Development Corp. Appoints New Board Members

The three appointees will each serve a three-year term.

Wilkinsburg Community Development Corp. has appointed three new members to its board of directors.

The appointments are for a three-year term and reflect the organization’s commitment to the community and the recently completed five-year plan, which highlights development of the central business district, civic leadership and organizational capacity building and sustainability.

New board members include: Christine Kush, University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business; Iris Whitworth, Allegheny River Towns Enterprise Zone; and Gerrod Winston, The Design Alliance Architects.

The Wilkinsburg Community Development Corp. was formed in June 2008 with a mission to revitalize Wilkinsburg and surrounding areas through business and residential development, organizational and individual civic leadership, and cultural enrichment.
