News Nearby: Penn's Corner Brings the Farm to the Neighborhoods

The deadline is April 2 for those who want to participate in the Penn's Corner CSA program.

Spring means fresh fruits and veggies are available again, and the Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance is helping provide the best of locally-grown products to your neighborhoods.

, a coop of family-owned farms, offers opportunities for consumers to get fresh produce through its farm share and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs. Most farms are located in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Consumers don’t have to be a member to take advantage of the farm share, but they do have to be a member to participate in the weekly CSA program, in which boxes of fresh produce are delivered to pickup locations throughout the area.
