Financial Analyst (Forest Hills)

The Financial Analyst at Community Life collects and studies data to determine costs of business activities, and prepare budgets and forecasts, and makes recommendations to management regarding cost improvement measures. The Financial Analyst will have the responsibilities to analyze data, extract and define relevant information, interpret data and prepare reports for forecasting, trending and results. Additional responsibilities include review costs and perform cost benefit analysis, perform moderately complex statistical costs and financial analysis of data reported in various financial systems; must provide the necessary technical and interpersonal skills to efficiently and effectively support the Executive Director, Finance Director and other administrative staff and the goals and objectives of the Community LIFE program.

Clinical Documentation and Reimbursement Specialist (Forest Hills)

The Clinical Documentation and Reimbursement Specialist (CDRS) at Community Life will be responsible for researching, developing and delivering educational programs, informational materials, and work products and tools to departments in order to ensure documentation and coding accuracy. The programs and materials developed will improve skills, establish improved physician documentation initiatives, respond to the needs of coding quality reviews, and support the development and implementation of best practice guidelines and policies to ensure compliance with regulations. The CDRS will be responsible for educating, orienting and cross-training newly hired coders; also be responsible for educating appropriate staff on the auditing process and programs to improve individual discipline skills and overall compliance. The CDRS will identify documentation improvement opportunities in order to reduce and/or eliminate future reviews; provide a high-level of technical competency and serves as a subject matter expert regarding documentation, coding, billing, and reimbursement and compliance management. This person will assist the Health Information and Compliance Department in risk analysis activities, act as a team resource for questions, and provide quality review and feedback. An additional essential function of this position will be to assign diagnostic codes (and CPT codes as necessary); review and analyzes data related to risk adjustment and medical records information to determine accuracy of coding, TPA submission, and adequacy of supporting documentation.
