Granddaughter of Swissvale Business Owner Shares Book with Oprah

Sarah Mortellaro's letter to her dog shares pages in book with celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Tony Bennett—and her grandparents, Ron and Cookie Rockovich, couldn't be prouder.

Ron and Cookie Rockovich of Swissvale have a granddaughter who is sharing the spotlight with Oprah Winfrey, Tony Bennett and other celebrities in a new book, “A Letter to My Dog: Notes to Our Best Friends.”

Sarah Mortellaro, their granddaughter from Granville, OH, was only a fourth-grader when her “letter to her dog” was sent last year to a national contest. Sarah's letter was selected for publication.

The book by celebrity photographer Robin Layton, with Kimi Culp and Lisa Espamer, is a collection of letters and portraits featuring dogs and their owners, including celebrities as well as everyday people.
