Forest Hills Manager Gets Regional Promotion

The latest in business news.

recently promoted Rita K. Schell to vice president / regional manager, effective immediately. In her new role, Schell will oversee the 12 First Commonwealth Bank community offices located throughout its Pittsburgh Metro East region, and will focus her expertise in growing the company‘s market share in Pittsburgh.

Schell has most recently held the position of office manager at First Commonwealth Bank's branch. Prior to joining First Commonwealth in 2010, she had an extensive background in banking that included a long career with National City Bank. In her more than 28 years with National City, Schell held several positions of leadership within the company, including vice president and branch manager, North Huntingdon office.

Schell has been an active and highly visible contributor to her local community, with volunteer efforts that include Family of Faith Outreach, and the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign.

Longtime residents of Lincoln Borough, Schell and her husband, Ken, enjoy spending time with their three children, Matthew, 25; Diana, 23; and Daniel, 21.
