Theater Classes in Regent Square Offered

Here is a list of upcoming opportunities.

begins its second semester at the in Regent Square by continuing with children’s classes in Musical Theatre (Thursdays, 4:30 to 6 p.m., grades four to six) and Junior Musical Theatre (Tuesdays, 5 to 6 p.m., grades one through three) where students build a solid foundation in voice and acting technique in a fun group setting through scenes, songs and improvisation.

New for adults, EEPA now offers Acting with Confidence (two sessions: Jan. 19 to Feb. 23 and April 12 to May 17) which will focus on gaining confidence in one’s performance, as well as listening and reacting to the other elements of the scene or monologue. Choose the session that best suits your schedule.

Audition workshops for teens and adults will be held Jan. 14 and 15 and March 10 and 11 from 2 to 5 p.m., allowing local performers and public speakers a chance to polish their work before heading into the audition room, be it for a school play, community theatre, college theatre program auditions, or even before a speech at work! Participants will be afforded time to perform for their peers, receive written feedback on their performance, and learn strategies for success in the audition room.

Private lessons in voice, piano, and acting are also available by appointment. Please contact owner and instructor Jamie Fair for further information on the classes and registration information.
