'It's A Wonderful Life' at Regent Square Theater

Movie goers will be given free admission in exchange for bringing a nonperishable item or canned good for the East End Cooperative Ministry's food drive.

As a special holiday gift to patrons of the Regent Square Theater, Pittsburgh Filmmakers is offering free admission to the Christmas classic "It's a Wonderful Life" next week.

Show times are 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 18-21, and 5 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. Though no admission will be charged, Pittsburgh Filmmakers is asking those who attend to help support the East End Cooperative Ministry’s food drive by bringing a nonperishable or canned good.

Though many families make this 1946 movie, directed by Frank Capra, a part of their holiday, this is a chance to see this Christmas classic on the big screen.
