Edgewood Symphony Orchestra

The Edgewood Symphony Orchestra will wrap up its 2011-2012 season with an “American Originals” concert on  May 12 at 7:30 PM at the Katz Auditorium at the JCC Pittsburgh in Squirrel Hill.  The concert will feature American composers with hits such as "American in Paris" by George Gershwin, "Syncopated Clock" and “The Typewriter” by Leroy Anderson.  In addition, the ESO will feature violinist Kemper Edwards performing Lalo’s "Symphonie Espagnole".   Kemper  is a member of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra (PYSO) and was a winner in the recent Pittsburgh Concert Society concerto competition.
