Edgewood Symphony at Woodland Hills Jr. High

This season, the Edgewood Symphony Orchestra is playing its May “American Originals” concert in two locations.  The first will be a family-friendly matinee at the Woodland Hills Jr. High School.  The concert will feature American composers with hits such as "American in Paris" by George Gershwin, "Syncopated Clock" and “The Typewriter” by Leroy Anderson.  In addition, the ESO will feature violinist Kemper Edwards performing Lalo’s "Symphonie Espagnole".   Kemper  is a member of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra (PYSO) and was a winner in the recent Pittsburgh Concert Society concerto competition.
