The is now in its 24th year as one of Pittsburgh's leading community orchestras.
More than 70 volunteer musicians with extensive backgrounds of musical training and experience dedicate their time and talents to bringing the classics to the Pittsburgh area.
The ESO board currently is seeking a volunteer secretary to join them at board and committee meetings. The secretary will aid in the organization of information for the orchestra, take minutes at meetings and translate notes into presentation format. The individual must be well organized, a good listener and enthusiastic about music.

The board currently meets the first Thursday of every month in , and there are typically two to three committee meetings each month.
