  • Take A Seat Egypt is the third International Take A Seat project by Dominic Gill, who now takes his tandem bicycle to Egypt, the heart of the Arab uprising. He explores the country, its politics and its rich history inviting Egyptian people to take a seat and help him pedal through the heat of summer to experience the rawest of road trips, with no doors or windows protecting them from reality. Painful, beautiful and everything in between.
  • The Cyclo Diaries. Two Australian tour guides decide to pedal a brakeless gearless pedicab 1800 kilometers from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City to raise money for charity. If the route were flat it would be a big challenge. Unfortunately the route is hilly and they have to do some quick thinking to keep the pedicab on the move. If you think the hills of Pittsburgh are daunting, try pedaling a pedicab for 140km in a single day.

Tickets for the festival are available at pghbikeff.eventbrite.com. The cost is $16 in advance and $20 at the door. Bike Pittsburgh will receive 25 percent of all tickets sales.

There also will be free soft drinks and beer samples from the the East End Brewing Company. Those who attend are encouraged to bring their own cups or water bottles to enjoy beverages.
