Regent Square Man Re-Elected for Transit Council

Allegheny County Transit Council (ACTC) recently elected a new board of officers.

Jim Robinson of Regent Square recently was re-elected as president of the independent, rider-based advisory council.

The group works closely with Port Authority of Allegheny County on transit issues and advocates for public transportation in the region.

ACTC also elected Jonathan Robison of Oakland as vice president and returning as treasurer is Beth Kuntz of Brentwood. Their one-year terms began July 1, 2012.

The organization was established by a state act in 1986 and is the official voice of Port Authority customers. Information on joining ACTC is available at PortAuthority.org.
