Parkway East Barrier Repairs Slated for Tuesday, Wednesday
PennDOT says motorists should use caution and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area.
Work to repair barriers on the Parkway East (I-376) will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, May 14-15, weather permitting.
Crews from Penn Line Service, Inc. will perform repairs on concrete median barriers each night. The left hand lane will be closed as needed in the following areas:
- Tuesday night: Parkway East inbound and outbound from the Oakland interchange (Exit 73-B) to the Boulevard of the Allies/Liberty Bridge interchange (Exit 72-B) two hours after the end of the Penguins game to 5 a.m.
- Wednesday night: Parkway East inbound and outbound from the Penn Hills interchange (Exit 81) to the Monroeville interchange (Exit 84-A) from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
