Juniper Village Honors Tree Contest Winner

This local woman put money towards fighting diabetes.

The votes have been counted from the contest sponsored by at . The winner for the most interesting and best decorated tree is Denise Jobes Hair Salon and the Snowman Tree.

As winner, Jobes Hair Salon receives $250 from Juniper Village to donate to the charity of their choice. Jobes will be donating the funds to the American Diabetes Association.

Juniper Village's Dietary Department's Carnival Tree came in second and Christ's Lutheran Church School's Noah's Ark Tree came in third place.

This year's fourth Annual Celebration of Trees Holiday Display ran from Dec. 2 to Jan. 4 and featured 29 trees, all decorated in different themes by local businesses. More than 200 members of the community toured the display.
