Foster Homes Needed for Bunnies

Animal Nature is helping a local organization find homes for these cute animals.

Rabbit Wranglers is seeking rabbit-savvy volunteers who are interested in becoming fosters. Rabbit Wranglers, which also does work with , has taken in a lot of rabbits recently rescued from an Ohio barn.

There is an immediate need for about 20 foster homes. These bunnies are mostly ready for adoption and do not have medical issues.

1. The feeling you get from helping a rabbit in need is indescribable.

2. All costs associated with the rabbit are covered by Rabbit Wranglers or may be used as a tax write-off if you itemize.

3. The time you foster can be as short or as long as you wish.

4. Many of our rabbits' medical/behavior issues have been resolved and they are now waiting for space to open at a shelter—these make easy and short—term fosters. Fostering these rabbits allows us the time and space to help the needier rabbits.

5. We do not typically make available for foster our intense medical/behavior rabbits. Those rabbits with medical/behavior issues that are available for foster are what we consider "easy medical/behavior" (ie: weight loss, an oral medication the rabbit takes willingly, or a rabbit who is timid and in need of socialization)
