Forest Hills residents who want to learn more about urban farming in the borough can do so at an informational meeting next week.

A town hall meeting to discuss a possible ordinance allowing residents to raise bees and chickens has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Westinghouse Lodge. The lodge is located on Barclay Avenue. Refreshments will be served.

Last month, officials agreed to advertise the ordinance. The next step would be to enact the new law.

A copy of the ordinance has been attached to this article. To read more about the issue, click here.
