Photos and Video: Forest Hills' Annual Tree Burning

If you missed Friday night's tree burning, here's a chance to feel like you were there.

Forest Hills' annual Tree Burning Ceremony is a long-standing tradition in the borough.

Friday night, smoke filled the air along Greensburg Pike near the Forest Hills/Westinghouse Lodge and the warmth from the flames brought residents together for the annual wintertime tradition.

The Forest Hills Lions and Forest Hills Civic Association served hot dogs, coffee and hot chocolate to the crowd. The borough volunteer firefighters, police and public works crews also helped make the event a success.
